Throughout the year, we host fundraisers for our Norwood Junior Woman's Club Enrichment Scholarship Fund, which assists families with the cost of attending programs at the Norwood Recreation Center. At this year's first summer concert , we were pleased to present a check for $1,500.00 to Travis Farley of the Norwood Recreation Dept. to replenish this fund that helped seventeen families in 2018.

Throughout the year, we host fundraisers to benefit our Norwood Junior Woman's Club Enrichment Scholarship Fund which assists families with the cost of attending programs at the Norwood Recreation Center. This year, we were pleased to present a check for $1,000.00 to Travis Farley, Superintendent of the Norwood Recreation Dept. to replenish this fund that has helped twenty-six families since 2018.

Our kids summer concerts have wrapped up for the season and we'd like to thank our performers and attendees for a great summer! We hope everyone had fun!

Dignity Matters Collection

Thanks to some generous donors, the Norwood Junior Woman's Club was able to present over 600 items to Dignity Matters for their October collection drive! We are happy to be able to partner with Dignity Matters in their worthwhile cause and we are very thankful for our donors.

NJWC sponsored three Norwood families this past holiday season with a total of eight children through Families 4 Xmas. Additionally, we spent the afternoon with our children wrapping presents for the many families that benefited from the support of The Families 4 Xmas organization. It was a wonderful experience for all of us!

Valentine's Day Cards for Soldiers Party

Valentine's Day Cards for Soldiers Overseas Event: On Thursday, January 30th, the Norwood Junior Woman's Club, in coordination with the Heartillery Group, held an event for local children to make Valentine's and thank you cards for soldiers overseas. The event was a big hit with the kids and we were able to make over 400 cards! Check out our slide show.

Animal Shelter Collection

Donation of blankets and food were made to the Neponset Valley Animal Shelter (Nov. 2013)
Every little bit helps to keep these homeless animals safe and warm.
Here are just a few of our accomplishments and fun things we worked on together:
